Terms of Use

Effective date: 24 September 2026. Last updated: 8 October 2026 (our name changed from DevIndi to Timeskip). Applies to the EzClean app for macOS (formerly SwiftClean), made by Timeskip (formerly DevIndi).

1. Agreement and Apple's Standard EULA

Your licence to use EzClean is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These Terms of Use supplement the Standard EULA; if the two conflict, the Standard EULA applies. By downloading or using EzClean you agree to both.

If you downloaded EzClean directly from us rather than from the Mac App Store, the Standard EULA's licence terms apply to you in the same way, with Timeskip as the licensor.

2. What EzClean does

EzClean scans your Mac for developer caches, build products, simulator data and similar files, shows what it found, and deletes the items you select. Please keep in mind:

3. EzClean Premium subscriptions

EzClean Premium is an optional auto-renewable subscription that unlocks premium features, such as Deep Scan. The features currently included are listed in the app before you buy.

The free features of EzClean remain available without a subscription.

4. One-time tips

The app also offers optional one-time tips (for example "A cup of coffee" and "A beer") as a way to support development.

Tips made outside the app, through PayPal or Buy Me a Coffee, are subject to those services' terms.

5. Acceptable use

Use EzClean only on Macs and data you own or are authorised to manage, and in line with applicable law and the Standard EULA. Do not attempt to bypass the purchase system or redistribute the app.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

EzClean is provided "as is" and "as available", as described in the Standard EULA. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Timeskip is not liable for data loss or other damages resulting from items you choose to delete or from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

7. Privacy

How the app handles information is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when features or plans change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Changes do not affect subscription periods you have already paid for.
